Conversely, if we are not attached to different circumstances or conditions in our outer life being a certain absolute way in order to be content, we are acting proactively rather than reactively. In this way we are in control of our own internal condition, and not something outside of ourselves.
With this awareness we can now accept things easier, as we can clearly see all our experiences serve a real cosmic purpose of testing and challenging our hidden-reactive natures. In fact, once we learn the divine lessons and change our inner nature we can move on to a less chaotic and more ordered life, as the lesson has served its purpose and we don’t need it any longer. We simply trust the universe, freeing ourselves from needing further particular lessons to grow and evolve lesson by lesson.
[The spiritual cycle of the universe is structured so that the consequences of our careless misdeeds, intolerant behavior, and hurtful words return to us. These repercussions of our own actions stand in judgment before us. The court of Cause and Effect stands in session. Reality is like a mirror. Look into a mirror and smile, and the image smiles back. But if we perform a negative act in our world, the mirror reflects that negative energy. The Creator never stands in judgment of us, and we are never required to stand in judgment in front of the Creator.]
We are to BE in the state of total nonjudgmental loving acceptance of others, our selves, and all else. Our real goal in life is to proactively love unconditionally, which is the same as sharing. This is the cause that will connect and reunite us to the Oneness of the Creator, where we become like the Creator’s essence in our nature-changing process.
By actively following this process, we can attain bliss and become in the flow of greater and greater life rewards toward prosperity. Better things begin to come our way, usually receiving gradual blessings that come with greater frequency as time passes, although larger and rapid rewards can occur to us as well. It is important that we have faith and persistence without expectancy. Things will begin to change in our life, even if it is not immediately apparent. Often we will gain greater awareness and enlightenment that can give us direction.
Things happen in our life that make no sense and make us ask “why.” Even with our praying, there will be times we don’t understand and we have to maintain our belief in God that he is merciful and kind. The way of spirituality teaches that feeling consistent right messages — or thoughts — from the Heart, frees us from the burdens of discontentment and discomforts the Mind can create. It is the “voices” from our Heart, and not the Mind, which determines our success in this world.
Learning to become the Observer in our life’s experience and then taking appropriate proactive actions to create what we want gives us the opportunity to control our life experience. By reflecting on and having good thoughts and self-concepts about ourselves that make us joyful, rather than focusing on thoughts that do not give us joy, we will begin to shift our State of Being and our experience to Being, Doing, and Having what we like and want. In this way, we are being proactive, instead of reactive, and we begin to naturally evolve into a higher-conscious being of unconditional love and sharing, which is our true inner nature.
No forced morals, rules, or restrictions will help the process, only our personal free-will choice towards the Light. Severe enforcement of morals, rules, or restrictions on others actually creates even more disorder and chaos, as the purpose that we are here in the first place is to evolve independently by are own merits. Love is not love unless it is authentic and free.
Before we became earth-bound in physical form, we received everything that we desired. The Light, an emanation of God, gave whatever we wanted when we existed in the Endless-Upper World, which was our original place of existence. The only thing was our receiving everything in endless joy and bliss. We were created solely for the Creator’s joy to give us joy. We wanted it, boom, there it is…nothing held back. Giving, giving, and giving to us infinitely. And we were receiving, receiving, and receiving infinitely. It was like a constant and incredible smorgasbord of blessings. Again, He required nor desired absolutely nothing in return. Since He desired for us to be joyful, He gave unconditionally whatever we desired to have.
But an interesting thing happened when we received from the Light. We actually took on the qualities of the Light; namely, that of sharing. We then wanted to be proactive like the Creator. This caused a desire that we wanted to fulfill as well — to be like the Creator, sharing and creating with all its benefits. This need caused a fundamental separation between the Creator and us, since this new desire could not be fulfilled under the existing conditions. In addition, we acknowledged that our two different natures separated us from God even further.
Well, in order for us to realize the ability that God had, we had to change our natural reactive-nature to a nature of proactive sharing qualities just like the Creator. But whom could we share with? Not the Creator, He has and is everything that is.
So “collectively” we asked the Creator to stop freely giving His Light to us, that is, we Restricted the Light. In this way, we could work to transform our behavior from a reactive to a proactive nature by learning to love and share unconditionally and to create with our desires by drawing in the unlimited Light from the Upper World with our own effort and will. In this way, we could now receive for the sake of sharing.
We asked for it and God gave it to us. Now, here we are amongst all the family of earth beings to learn this. We where one-big receiving Sprit Essence, and then we became apparently fragmented and separated, physically materializing into everything and everyone that we see in order to learn to share, love, and create together.
We are all really the same Self and are expressed as individual-separate “self’s”. To put another way, “you are me, and I am you”. We are all parts or aspects of the same Self, only appearing as different and separate individuals that have fragmented into pieces in order to learn the sharing quality with each of our parts. It was the cosmic event that caused the Big Bang.
We are all still connected to each other by God’s Light. God is always still with us, too. He just dimmed His Light to give us the opportunity to generate and extract the Light on our own, which will give us ultimate joy and connection to God forever. This Light is always with each of us, waiting to fill us.
Our true essence is only Light and love, like God. However, our reactive-receiving nature has become our primal-Ego nature (code name Sa-tan in Hebrew) that acts as our true Opponent in the physical world. It feeds on an energy source that is opposite the Light of God. This “dark” energy wants us to remain reactive. That is its main job description, and it certainly does a good job.
Our limited-physical scenes cause us to believe that there are limited resources available to share, and this causes us to have a competitive fighting you-against-me attitude toward others. This fight goes on within ourselves as well, between who we really are, love and Light, which is our true-unlimited Self; and, our false-limited self, the Ego, which distorts our perception and creates chaos in our lives. The false-Ego self causes a negative-energy shell (called Klipot in Hebrew) to form around us and blocks the connection to the Light and to each other, as well as the fulfillment that we yearn for.
Our real life goal then is that we need to work to break the shell of separation of the “me/you”, “what’s in it for me”, “I’m right”, “that’s mine” limiting-competitive inclination with an unlimited-cooperative attitude. Sharing also means not needing to always have the last word or always being right, being patient, avoiding an argument or anger, etc. All else that we do in our daily lives is actually a “side show” for the process of changing our nature.
For example, when we get angry with someone, that is a form of immediate gratification since we get a short-term “high” from this reactive behavior, a form of receiving and not restricting. We then short circuit, disconnecting from the Light and the other person. By not getting angry, we allow, and thus we share by tapping into the Infinite Light Force within us and around us. When things outside of us don’t adversely affect us, we are in control and we are the cause of our emotions like the Creator. We may have difficulty controlling our emotion or anger, but our restriction to react in all things, both good and bad, is the same as unconditional love, which is sharing.
This transformation process to change our nature is described in Kabbalah as “Soul Correction” (called Tikkun in Hebrew). The purpose as coded in the Book of The Zohar is called “Removing Bread of Shame”, in which we earn merit in the physical domain to gain access in the World to Come by overcoming the opponent — our primal nature that want’s to receive for the self alone.
There are more details to this story, but when we all become proactive, like the Creator, the Law of Similarities will cause a spiritual-conscious shift that will unite us all with God as One. We will then be free of our physical and bodily limitations. When enough of a critical mass of people develop the concept within their hearts, namely love, the messianic age will be ushered in. We will then experience Heaven on Earth.
Now where does circumcision fit in? It is a sign and reenactment of the original Restriction in the Upper World. It is a silent physical reminder that symbolizes our covenant between God and ourselves to transform our natures. We are born as receiving (reactive) creatures, and our external self is a manifestation of our internal self, like a mirror. The foreskin represents our natural-reactive nature, i.e. it is used for receiving and prolonging the energy (Light) of sexual excitement. We like it because the feelings connect us to the Endless 99% world. However, since the foreskin is physical, it represents an external 1% reality. And within its physicality, it can only contain a finite amount of energy, like a battery, in the form of sexual-spiritual energy, which is an aspect of the Light.
Instead, if we learn to generate our own feelings of this excitement by developing our consciousness in such a way that gives us this euphoria constantly, or at least more often, we are being our own creators from within us instead of depending on something outside of us. Relying on the external-physical will only discharge its limited life force supply and leave us feeling empty and drained. This could result in a condition of requiring physical stimulation more often to experience the limited-intense highs, with the concomitant unlimited-intense lows. This is the dynamics of addictions.
So we must restrict this reliance on the temporary aspects of our sexual/physical relations. For example, if we connected the two poles of a light bulb directly together and bypass the center resistor filament (restriction), we get an instant uncontrolled explosion of light, and then total darkness. Would you have a cookout on the grill using only lighter fluid? No, it would be gone before no time. Instead we appropriately use enough lighter fluid to ignite the longer burning coal or wood to cook.
This is not to say that the material/physical is bad, on the contrary, it is good, as it gives us a reference point of our ultimate goal. It serves to remind and motivate us of our original state in the 99% Endless World, and it helps to sustain us until we reach the proactive state, or an enlightened consciousness. Yet, it is temporary, and offers a message to us that we are temporary-material Beings that needs to focus on the Light for sustenance.
This goes for all other things a well, not only sexual activity. This theme can go on in many areas of our lives, and is a reason for our life-experience development. Understanding this idea can relieve a lot of pain and chaos in our lives in general. [Why do we have the false belief that we are in control of our lives when, in reality, our jobs, our competitive nature, our jealousies, and all the trappings of the material world really drive and therefore control us?]
It is a Kabbalah concept to restrict and raise yourself up from internally driven reactive behavior in response to external conditions. We all have a desire to receive [for the self alone] certain “highs”, with a tendency to get them from finite “bursts” of energy that creates discomfort such as depression and anxiety when it’s over, like in an addiction. Behavior such as anger, judging, gossiping, wanting continual approval, compulsive eating and drinking, using drugs, etc. is being reactive. When restricted, it draws in a more balanced and lasting quality of Light. Similar to the principles of electrical circuitry, when there is no resistance, a short circuit will occur.
When we Restrict, or Circumcise, our physical or naturally given nature to have desires fulfilled immediately as in the Infinite World, which is our original state, we then have to take matters into our own hands. Now we have to be proactive, make an effort, take action, and not just sit back and enjoy the ride as is usual and comfortable. We have to earn it. Otherwise it defeats the purpose of our personally requested desire to transform our reactive nature that keeps us separated from the Light.
In the original intent to explain male circumcision, the male now has to rely on his own proactive efforts in satisfying himself and his partner. This will also go beyond physical pleasure into the realms of emotion, mental, and spiritual, yet, sparked through and by the physical desire. In addition, he will now have to give effort and share through more loving action to inspire his mate with things like passionate caresses, speaking loving thoughts, and the awareness of her mental, emotional and physical sensitivities, etc. This creates a divine-like connection, draws Light, and empowers the relationship.
Having an intact foreskin normally provides the sexual excitement alone, but now he has to go beyond himself and his nature. When the focus is taken off of the ME, the whole experience can change to a higher order, a higher dimension, and to one of multi-dimensions of experience that is intended to be better than having a foreskin in the first place.
With respect to the female, she does enjoy the pleasures of a male’s foreskin during sexual union. It’s so desirable without the pain of friction caused by circumcision. She wants more of this from the male, as he is also able to sustain his own pleasurable erection resulting from the foreskin sensitivity, and that paradoxically acts as a barrier against ejaculation to prolong arousal. She can even achieve organism before him because of the foreskin movements. The male does not have to work very hard to satisfy her, or himself. It is too easy to the point that no transformation can possibly occur by either of them.
In time, and with inappropriate use and excess, the physical matter becomes numb and deteriorates, while the window of transformative opportunity is lost, and no Light is generated nor experienced. The physical sexual organs therefore can become a distraction of Ego fulfillment, a vehicle of instant temporary gratification, instead of a spiritual tool or gift for growth.
When the certain ways of spiritual tools are used correctly, the physical matter will become infused with spiritual Light energy, counteracting so-called “natural” physical degradation. You extend its life with Life Force that drives our physiology to a more ordered state of functioning. It stands to reason that this is perhaps the way to inhibit the aging process, which can lead to immortality.
In the process, the male largely learns to become a giver (sharing), while the female ostensibly “acts” as the receiver. Nevertheless, she is really giving too, giving of herself by efforts to help the male (and herself) learn to proactively give and share (sexual-love emotions) to someone outside and beyond the Ego [s]elf, and sharing retroactively to the Light [S]elf as well. She may experience pain in the process, but if there is unconditional love and sharing allowance, the pain threshold naturally rises and gives a greater ability to experience pleasure. The sexual union then becomes a Divine Chariot of greater creative transformation to generate Light — continually and at will. It becomes a win-win symbiosis that will change the course of relationships; namely, Enlightenment through Divine Will, which is the same as our own Desires of Fulfillment.
It’s important to realize that our ego was created for the purpose of overcoming it; nevertheless, by having an ego we each have our own unique perspective. This serves a vital function, not only as a thing to overcome and let go of, but also as a survival tool in our development. It gives us a limited and temporary perception of a reality that we can deal with while we are learning true reality and the big picture. Otherwise we would be too overwhelmed with universal information and knowledge all at one time. It filters what we perceive in order for us to function in an effective way on a daily basis, and thus forms our individual personality. It gives a certain piece of reality, a perspective, though we need to get more “pieces” that will give us an increased awareness that is much different than the one piece alone.
So the ego self holds a representation of reality, but it is not reality. It is only a map of reality that we function by at various levels of understanding in stages of our lives. As we grow and develop, through both pain and pleasure, we learn to see more of the way things really are. We gradually change and expand our view and our personality if we can be opened to new experiences, challenges, and ideas and not resist them.
Resistance creates increased pain, and if you learn to accept a temporary painful experience, it will create biological and spiritual growth that may not be apparent at the time. The goal is to become conscious of and honestly realize things that don’t work for us, and use these experiences to understand what is Truth, for you, and what is not. In so doing, the need for an ego will dissolve and a greater awareness will give the ability to be who we really are, in fact, pieces of God.
[That is the Game of Life. Who made up the Game of Life? We did. We asked for it when we stopped the Light from coming in directly. The Light complied and withdrew His Infinite Light creating an arena where we could play the Game of Life. The object of the game is to learn how to receive lasting fulfillment. We receive lasting fulfillment each time we behave in a proactive manner. On the other hand, we receive short-term gratification coupled with long term chaos when we achieve fulfillment through reactive behavior.]
In the same way we circumcise the desires of the flesh, the bible points out to circumcise the heart covering, too. They both mean the same thing, which is to open us up to our highest state of being, God love. This is unconditional love and it is our core essence. Becoming an understanding Loving Being engenders trusting, giving, and joyful hearts in all our relationships with others and our own selves. In this way, we bring in proportionately more of God’s infinite and sharing Light Energy of Fulfillment that always surrounds us to flow in and through us for sustenance to live and thrive.
[The seed of all evil and anxiety in the world is due to “uncertainty” and doubt within us. Uncertainty about ourselves; Uncertainty about the existence of God; Uncertainty about our destiny and ability to overcome challenges; Uncertainty about there being justice in the world; Uncertainty about the rewards associated with positive, spiritual behavior.]
The body’s sense effects to such energy flow has been directly measured; for example, a loving thought generates higher, base10 log -35 million megawatts, whereas a fearful thought generates a lower, base10 log -750 million microwatts — a huge difference. (Hawkins, David R., M.D., Ph.D. Power vs. Force: the hidden determinants of human behavior.)
Though it can be a challenge at times, we are all learning the lessons to receive real fulfillment, as it once was in the Upper World, by earning it through the efforts of sharing unconditional love in all its giving forms through the seemingly limited physical world.
As humans, the untold modern story is to remove the focus on ourselves, including our problems and concerns, and get our thoughts “out of our heads.” This compulsive and addictive inner focus creates anxiety because the mind “plays games” and replays them with us and [appears] to make matters worse than they really are. Instead, we need to focus on things outside ourselves, on helping and giving attention to others, and also expressing our gifts and talents and the things we enjoy, which becomes a form of sharing, and that puts us into a state of pleasurable feelings of “flow.”
Anytime we take our mind off things that bother us and onto different activities that distracts us for a period of time, we notice later that we are no longer bothered as much or at all. In reality, our everyday battles are actually inner “mind-battles” that cause us to react and drain our energy. The mind wants the temporary energy from immediate gratification by reacting, and we proactively restrict this response that is likened to the force of Sa-tan for true Light of joy.
A primary spiritual lesson is to [restrict] this reactive mind by becoming aware of it and positively redirecting our thoughts and actions to overcome its influences, where we become the masters of the mind rather than a slave to the emotional mind. We then become free of all anxieties and fears.
